Sir Nicholas Winton is a man with a big heart who, during the holocaust, put his life at risk in order to save the lives of 669 Jewish children from Nazi death camps.
After the end of the war, little about him was known, until 1998, when Winton’s wife Grete found the scrapbook from 1939 with the complete list of children’s names and photos.
Here’s a clip of a television program showing Sir Nicholas Winton sitting among Jewish people who he saved fifty years before.
This is definitely one of the most heart-touching videos I’ve ever seen. Please share it with your friends — more people need to experience these beautiful moments.
